About Me
I'm Lil'Bug, a 20-something, painfully average, human being. I have recently become obsessed with making my 7 year-old self proud by making things. Drawing, painting, sewing, crocheting, building this silly little website. I plan to share all of that here along with all the tools, resources, and advice that helps me keep moving forward. The sole purpose of this website is to bring me some joy, and hopefully some connection to others.
Why is it called "Happy Lil'Bug"?
Lil'Bug was my nickname growing up. I was small and I often chased and collected bugs, lizards etc. I refused to be called Lil'Bug in my pre-teen years because I was too cool for it. I've reclaimed the nickname as an adult to reconnect with my childhood self.
I'm not a particularly "happy" (or even optimistic) person by nature. I really wish I was. So basically calling this site "happy me" is more like a reminder for myself to look towards the positive.
